Chris Bassham, a local of Florence, Alabama, sits down with interviewers to discuss his role in Undying Faith. Cast as Satan in late 2019, filming for episode one of Undying Faith began in late 2019 and early 2020. However, production came to a halt when the 2020 pandemic hit. The cast and crew, however, persisted with production finishing in late 2020 and entering episode one of Undying Faith into film festivals in 2022 after post-production had finished.
I think it’s a pretty cool part to have. I really do.
Chris states in his interview video.
With Undying Faith being a Christian television show, Chris Bassham also talks about why the show is needed.
I think the purpose of Undying Faith is that we need to have a strong faith in God. There’s places that don’t have freedom of religion like we do. We take it for granted a lot of the times, but we need to be more aware of it. That a lot of people do not have this freedom that we have. We need to protect it.
Chris states.
Like Chris Bassham stated, the television show, Undying Faith, has a strong emphasis on what a world without freedom of religion looks like. While the television show is indeed fictional, the show centers around two girls, Lydia and Joanna, who must live life in a world without freedom of religion.
Chris’s character, Satan, is known as or referred to as the devil, and his character is seen on screen causing havoc for Lydia, Joanna, and the other characters in the series.
Episode one of Undying Faith was entirely filmed in Alabama with some parts being filmed in Florence, Alabama while other parts were filmed in Tuscaloosa Country. Chris Bassham, a local of Florence, Alabama, also owns FishPig Ink, which is a tattoo shop in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Episode two of Undying Faith is rumored to have already resumed filming this fall.
