Joanna Williams, one of the leads in Undying Faith, first appears in the episode called Pilot. In this episode, Kadence’s character, Joanna Williams, is found alongside her best friend, Lydia Johnson, adjusting to a life without freedom of religion.
Meant to bring awareness, the series brings issues to life about what a lack of freedom can look like for those around the globe. According to Open Doors USA, there are approximately 360 million Christians around the world that face high levels of discrimination and persecution.
The persecution of Christians deserves awareness.
