A Japanese artist named Haruki creates beautiful artwork and sculptures from empty packages. Her artwork consists of a style of art called kirigami, which means the art of paper cutting.
The term kirigami was coined from Florence Temko in the United States after her book, Kirigami, the Creative Art of Papercutting, became widely successful.
Besides the influence of Florence Temko, many more paper cutting artists have become successful and influencial as well. Some of these influencial individuals include Seiji Fujishiro, Giovanni Russo, and Nahoko Kojima.
Through her rising popularity over social media, people could even say that Haruki has also become an influential member of the kirigami society.
In her youtube videos, Haruki describes her art sculptures as Package Art, and her youtube channel has grown to have over 131 thousand subscribers since the channel began back in 2019.
