Production Phase for Undying Faith Ends With John Wells Cast as Jesus

John Wells joins the cast of Undying Faith as Jesus. He is best known for his work in The Dream Motel on Pureflix, The Dark: The Great Deceiver on Pureflix, and Cadia: The World Within. John’s character, Jesus, appears in the show in other character’s dreams in an attempt to guide them through life’s difficult journeys. Jesus in the television show, Undying Faith, is a biblical representation of Jesus from the Bible. Jesus’s appearance to another character called Altai has a profound effect and is evident in episode one of Undying Faith.

Kyo Production, the production company behind Undying Faith, started filming back in late 2019 and early 2020. However, production came to a halt when the COVID-19 pandemic emerged. The COVID-19 pandemic hit back in March of 2020 forcing many businesses in the United States to temporarily shut down. Kyo Production, which is also located within the United States, was forced to temporally shut down as well. Production for Undying Faith resumed again in late 2020, and the last scene to be filmed for Undying Faith was filmed recently in late April of 2021.

The creator of the show, John Yang, also gave us a statement.

Since we have now entered into post-production, I am so excited. I have felt called to complete this project, and for filming to come to a close feels empowering. The footage also looks great! God has really been with us every step of the way, and I am so excited to see where He will continue to guide us for this project in the future.
